Disable Windows Error Reporting

Windows Error Reporting (WER) service collects information about computer hardware and software and sends it to Microsoft.

If you do not want to share information about your software and hardware with Microsoft.

Cons: Why do not use this tweak?

If you want to help Microsoft to improve its services.

How to apply this tweak manually:

  1. Press Win + R, type "regedit.exe" and press Enter.
  2. Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
    Windows\Windows Error Reporting     key.
  3. Double click it and create/change the value "Disabled" (type DWORD) to 1.
