Windows Defender Antivirus will not protect you against unwanted software or adware.

How to apply this tweak manually:

  1. Press Win + R, type "regedit.exe" and press Enter.
  2. Then go to LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows Defender\MpEngine branch and find the MpEnablePus key.
  3. Double click it and change the value to 1.
