Disable Power Throttling

Requirements

Windows 10 version 1709.

Pros: Why use this tweak

The main idea of power throttling is to limit the CPU resources for inactive apps. If some application is minimized or runs in the background, it still uses your system resources. For such apps, the operating system will place the CPU in its most energy-efficient operating modes, so the minimal possible battery is spent on that work.
But if you want to disable power throttling, follow this instruction step by step.

Cons: Why do not use this tweak?

Disabling the power throttling options will stop saving your battery.

How to apply this tweak manually:

  1. Press Win + R, type "regedit.exe" and press Enter.
  2. Then go to LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerThrottling branch and find the PowerThrottlingOff key.
  3. Double click it and change the value to 1.
