Inspecting files didn't find issue since I found and deleted the malware earlier. www.search-redir is still affecting my google chrome URL search after setting reset.

How I first got the malware was through accidentally clicking on a google advert mistaking trying to download a graphing application for a appstore named Fast. My homepage on google was replaced by a homepage called DSR, and the search-redir.com Broswer Hijacker.

I found the Malware using MalwareBytes and removed it but the search-redir remained. I reinstalled my windows, Mircosoft Bing was fixed from it but not Google. Even after resetting my Chrome through settings the search-redir.com remained.

The redirect performs a redirect to www.search-redir.com first through search inquiries without domains, then to few sites or possibly at random: search-great.com, searchthatweb.com, find.myhoroscopepro.com, then finally to search.yahoo.com/yhs/

The yahoo.com looks fake because I can't go to the yahoo home page at the top right icon and there's no apps dropdown.

Using Google's Devloper Tools, the www.search-redir.com is a 302 redirect. I can navigate without activating search-redir.com by going directly to a site and or going directly to a search engine and use its search.
