Blocking the Browser Hijacker www.search-redir.com didn't work

Question

I have made a feedback question on the www.search-redir.com before this but Blocking the Browser Hijacker site doesn't work because the google URL search goes directly to the search-redir.com site directly for search inquiries and basically doesn't fix the problem.

I need the Chrome URL search engine to use the google.com search engine. But it not working. Swapping browsers from google to bing doesn't work so its a Chrome issue internally.

First, download the latest version of UnHackMe from our site:

1. Open UnHackMe.
2. Click the "Help in Removal" button on the main screen.
3. Choose "Send Log File to Support Center."
4. Enter your e-mail, name, or nick.
5. Describe your problem.
6. Accept our Privacy Policy.
7. Click the "Upload" button.
If you have any trouble with it, you can manually attach "regrunlog.txt" from your desktop and send it to us by e-mail at support@greatis.com.
I will check your log and send you a solution as soon as possible.
