FBI Servers Hacked To Distribute Fake Cyberattack Warnings
FBI servers were hacked to deliver fake 'urgent' warnings of cyberattacks from an advanced threat actor identified as Vinny Troia, who in reality is the head of security research of the dark web intelligence companies NightLion and Shadowbyte. According to the SpamHaus Point researchers, the spam messages came from the official FBI email address, their origin is verified by the DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) mechanism. FBI has confirmed that the emails contain fake information.
