New Traffic Direction System Infects More Than 16 500 Websites to Distribute Malware

A new traffic direction system (TDS) called Parrot has infected a large number of various websites to distribute malware. TDS Parrot stands out compared to the other TDS attacks because of its huge reach with its operators singling out servers hosting poorly secured WordPress sites to gain administrator access. Most of the users targeted by the attack are from Brazil, India, the U.S, Singapore, Indonesia, Argentina, France, Mexico, Pakistan, and Russia.
