OneNote Attachments In Phishing Emails Used To Spread Malware
Previously threat actors commonly used Word and Excel documents in phishing emails; however, after Microsoft disabled macros by default in Office documents, they had to adapt. The most recent method utilized by hackers is using Microsoft OneNote attachments.
