Microsoft Recommends Exchange Admins To Remove Certain Antivirus Exclusions

Microsoft has warned Exchange administrators to remove certain antivirus exclusions for Exchange servers that target the Temporary ASP.NET Files and Inetsrv folders as well as the PowerShell and w3wp processes. These locations should still be scanned by Exchange admins since they can still be abused in various attacks. According to Microsoft, removing these processes and folders doesn't affect performance or stability when using Microsoft Defender on Exchange Server 2019, running the latest Exchange Server updates.
