There was this one time where I got hacked because I had installed malicious files unknowingly. My audio used to crackle and my screen flashed once per boot up. This problem has shown up again in the last few days and it persists even after completely wiping disk C and reinstalling windows a few months ago. I searched on the internet for answers to what I might have and I could have a boot sector virus, a troublesome one that doesn't go away that easily.
