Follow these simple steps:
- Open A1RunGuard.
- Open the Process List from the menu on the left, or click the Start button on the Dashboard.
Click the large plus button above the list, or right-click anywhere in the list and select New.
- Choose how you want to identify the program: by its name, or by its full file path.
To block a program by name:
Type the program file name into the Process Name field.
You can also click the three dots button to select a program from the list of running apps, startup items, scheduled tasks, or services.
Note! You cannot block the essential processes, like "svchost.exe" or "explorer.exe. - To block a program by full path: Turn on the Process Full Path option.
Paste the full file path, or click the file icon to browse and select the program on your computer.
- Click Save to create the process block.
