New Phishing Campaign BazarCall Delivers BazarLoader Malware Using Fake Streaming Website

Security researchers have discovered a new phishing campaign named BazarCall that managed to bypass automated threat detection systems to deliver the BazarLoader malware used by the TrickBot gang. Phishing emails are disguised as a notification about a payment card charge for a continued subscription to an online movie streaming service BravoMovies from the company UrbanCinema. If users follow the instruction on how to unsubscribe from the BravoMovies, they get to download an Excel document which contains macros that download and install BazarLoader malware. Read more...
