When you sign in to Chrome with a Google Account, you can synchronize data on all your devices and get access to additional browser features.
If you turn off synchronization, your bookmarks, passwords, history, and other settings will still be available on your computer. However, the changes you make to them will not be saved in your Google account and synchronized with your other devices.
When you turn off synchronization, you will be logged out of all other Google services, such as Gmail.
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on Profile at the top right.
- Check if Sync is on or not.
- When you checked, click on this place. Settings will open. Click on Turn off Sync.
- Click on
in the confirmation screen. That's all! Your Sync is off.
