Apple Has Fixed iOS Zero-day Vulnerability Actively Exploited In The Wild
The vulnerability tracked as CVE-2021-1879 was discovered in the Webkit browser engine and allowed hackers to launch cross-site scripting attacks. Hackers baited victims to open malicious content on their devices to initiate the attack. The list of devices included iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 3 and later, and the others.
