Chrome 87 update release brought performance boost and security fixes

Chrome 87, released by Google on the 17th of November 2020, has brought a number of performance and security improvements. Windows, Linux, and Mac users can upgrade to Chrome 87 by going into the Settings menu. After investigating the Chrome performance issues, Google has discovered that the main cause of those were JavaScript Timers. The recent update made them only work once every minute. According to Google, Chrome 87 consumes less memory, while taking up to 25% less time to boot and up to 7% less time to load pages. Read more...
