Cisco Fixes Bugs That Allowed Remote Attackers To Execute Commands As Root And Create Admin Accounts

Cisco has fixed critical SD-WAN vManage and HyperFlex HX software security flaws that allowed attackers to execute commands as root and create admin accounts while issuing the updates to address other vulnerabilities in multiple other software products that allow attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely. Cisco's Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) has stated that they are not aware of vulnerabilities being actively exploited in the wild. Read more...
