Facebook Pages and Ads For Fake Windows Themes Distribute Malware

Cybercriminals are exploiting Facebook business pages and ads to promote counterfeit Windows themes that infect unsuspecting users with SYS01 password-stealing malware. Researchers from Trustwave, who monitored these campaigns, noted that the threat actors are also promoting fraudulent downloads for pirated games and software, including Sora AI, a 3D image creator, and One Click Active.
