Fake Chrome Extension 'Internet Download Manager' Has Been On Chrome Web Store For 3 Years

Chrome extension 'Internet Download Manager' has reached 200,000 installs on Chrome Web Store, while sitting on the store since June 2019. Extension downloads legitimate software by Tonec, but while doing so it also spams users with pop-up ads, changes the default browser engine, and opens links to spam sites.
