Free Decryptor For LockerGoga Ransomware Released By Bitdefender

Romanian cybersecurity company Bitdefender has released a free decryptor for LockerGoga ransomware that victims can use to decrypt their files for free. According to Bitdefender, the decryptor was developed in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, including Europol, the NoMoreRansom Project, the Zürich Public Prosecutor's Office, and the Zürich Cantonal Police. The LockerGoga decryptor was created thanks to law enforcement arresting the ransomware operators back in 2021 which allowed access to the master private keys used to decrypt victims' encryption keys.
