Microsoft Cancels Windows 10X

Microsoft has announced that they decided to discontinue Windows 10X, a slimmed-down alternative to Windows 10, and will take some of the Windows 10X technology and incorporate it into Windows 10 as a whole. Microsoft made the announcement with the major Windows 10 update, stating that the reason for project cancellation is user feedback. According to John Cable, Microsoft’s vice president of program management, some of the Windows 10X technology had already been migrated to Windows 10, specifically, the Windows Insider beta builds.
