Microsoft has removed a significant barrier for its Windows 11-exclusive security feature, Smart App Control, by eliminating the mandatory clean install requirement. With a recent Insider build, users can now toggle the feature on or off directly through the Windows Security settings menu.
Smart App Control is designed to proactively block untrusted or potentially harmful applications before they execute.
