Microsoft has launched Inbound SMTP DANE with DNSSEC for Exchange Online in public preview, enhancing email integrity and security.
SMTP DANE integrates with TLS Authentication (TLSA) DNS records to authenticate mail servers and certificates, defending against downgrade and man-in-the-middle attacks. DNSSEC adds cryptographic verification of DNS records, preventing spoofing and interception of emails.
