According to Microsoft's advisory, Windows Print Spooler zero-day allows local attackers to gain SYSTEM privileges on a computer. This zero-day bug is a part of PrintNightmare bugs' class which abuses configuration settings for the Windows print spooler, print drivers, and the Windows Point and Print feature.
