Payment Processor Ransomware Attack Has Caused Data Breach In Several US Cities

A ransomware attack against the commonly used payment processor ATFS has caused data breaches in several cities and agencies within California and Washington. The attack was done by the cybergang Cuba Ransomware after they stole unencrypted files and deployed the ransomware, causing big disruption to AFTS' business operations, making websites unavailable, and impacting payment processing.
