Purple Fox Malware Is Back With Worm-like Capabilities

Purple Fox malware that was previously distributed by phishing emails has added a worm module to its list of capabilties that allows it to scan for and infect Windows systems reachable over the Internet in ongoing attacks. Purple Fox malware has targeted Windows systems in the past, attempting to infect the systems through the web browsers by abusing memory corruption exploits.
