RedLine Malware Targeting Popular Web-brosers, Stealing Credentials

RedLine malware is a commodity information-stealer that targets popular web-browsers such as Chrome, Edge and is able to steal passwords that are saved in the web-browsers.

According to the example provided by AhnLab ASEC researchers in their report, a remote employee lost VPN account credentials to RedLine Stealer actors who used the information to hack the company's network three months later.

Despite the infected computer having an antivirus installed, the RedLine Stealer hasn't been removed and managed to successfully extract the data.
