Windows 11 Compatibility Hold Removed For Gaming PCs

Microsoft has fixed the known issue of lower-than-expected performance and stuttering in some games, likely caused by some GPUs entering debug mode without permission. The compatibility hold was added as a temporary workaround for the problem after the fix had gone live Microsoft removed the update block according to the Windows Health dashboard. According to Microsoft, if there are no other safeguards preventing the updates, it can take up to 48 hours before the update to Windows 11, version 22H2 is offered. Read more...
