RussianMorto Worm - removal instructions
Morto is a dangerous worm which propagates via computer networks. Morto infects other computers via RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol). This creates increasing traffic for port TCP:3389. Morto exploits the weakness f a user's or administrator's passwords. In addition Morto downloads another malware with commands from its command servers.
The Morto worm uses a rootkit technology for hiding its registry keys.
It registers itself in system services with a random name.
The Morto worm files are stored in the %WinDir%\OFFLINE WEB PAGES subfolder.
CACHE.TXT is a dangerous DLL.
