Microsoft Releases Emergency Update For Windows PrintNightmare Zero-day

KB5004945 emergency security update has been released by Microsoft to fix the recent PrintNightmare zero-day vulnerability, but the patch still isn't complete and can be locally exploited. The remote code execution bug allows threat actors to take over affected domains with SYSTEM privileges. Security updates have not yet been released for Windows 10 version 1607, Windows Server 2016, or Windows Server 2012, but they will also be released soon, according to Microsoft. Read more...
