New Pro-Ocean cryptojacking malware targets Apache, Oracle and Redis servers

Pro-Ocean is a new cryptojacking malware by Rocke hackers with self-spreading capabilities, that can blindly throw exploits at discovered vulnerable devices. According to research, malware has “new and improved rootkit and worm capabilities” to hide malicious activity and spread to unpatched software on the network. The campaign is targeting cloud applications and leverages known vulnerabilities to take control of unpatched Oracle WebLogic, Apache ActiveMQ servers and unsecured Redis servers. Read more...
