Tesla's Servers Outage Causes Prevents Owners From Unlocking Their Vehicles

Starting from 4 PM PST Tesla owners have started reporting that they are getting a "500 server error" from the Tesla app when attempting to unlock the vehicle. The server outage also prevented the app from showing the correct location of the vehicle. The issue seems to be a worldwide one, with Tesla owners across the globe reporting the same problems.
